This product is excellently designed. Its visual UI interface is concise and clear, and it delivers a great user experience. It features highly sensitive tension testing and scientifically designed training program options, allowing me to track changes in my finger strength over the long term. I’ve heard it will soon add a function to customize comprehensive training volume plans combined with climbing days, which I’m really looking forward to.

I pre-ordered this device and have been using it since the beginning of August 26. Training is so much more enjoyable now bc it's far more responsive than the WHC-06 crane scale, and it’s significantly more compact and easier to pack for the gym.

I've been using the Frez App since March and subscribed after two weeks. It's an investment, but a good hangboard isn't cheap either, and tracking progress manually is hard.
Combined with my existing pull-up bar, it was definitely a wise decision.

Hardware-wise, the build quality is solid, Bluetooth connection is instant, and battery life has been great so far.
One neat detail: it powers on with a single press and automatically turns off after 10 minutes of inactivity (long press = off) - which is perfect for repeaters with 2–3 minute rest intervals.
On the old crane scale (auto-off = 2 mins), taring always took a few seconds (approx. 1 vs 3 sec), and pulling too early would mess up the taring process, even if the app already showed it's connected. 3 sets repeaters = 3 x annoying ^^

I chose this over the Tindeq because the app interface is much cleaner and more intuitive. On top of that, direct communication with the developer via Discord is outstanding! Several minor issues were resolved quickly, and feature requests were actually noted and implemented.

I’ve talked to several people at my climbing gym who use a Tindeq (some only use it to warm up, though the crane scale suffice for just that). only a handful use it for all the other stuff :0

Very responsive, light and compact. Especially compared to slow and bulky cheap chinese load cells.
Works flawlessly with Frez App. Very satisfied with the purchase. The shipment from South Korea to Poland took less than a week (however the shipping costs were very significant compared to the device price itself). Bought it together with the strap and the portable platform and damn is this comfortable. I was reluctant to spend 50$ extra on a piece of wood but it’s totally worth it. Light and sturdy. Very easy to set up. And the rotating carabiner works great. Very well thought-out

Frez will change the dyno business... it offers another level of acuracy for smaller size and lower price! If you train for climbing, Frez Dyno (and app) is a no brainer!

Really really cool gadget to use for training and testin, in a remarkable price too! My only suggestion would be for it to be able to keep up for at least more than 400kg. I think more higher level athletes will be able to use it this way. I really enjoyed using the product tho and I highly recommend!!! :))

This is a real game changer for me compared to the budget crane scale. Not only does it feel much higher quality and is much more compact, but its much higher sampling rate and incredibly fast response make for a completely different training experience.

Any change in applied force is visible immediately, so you can make adjustments on the spot instead of constantly over- or undercompensating. The device gives you much better feedback and makes training far more precise.

And all of this comes at such a fair price, with super-fast delivery. Excellent value for money to my opinion. I can absolutely recommend it.
